PIA's Two Planes Forced to Emergency Landing in Turkey and Malaysia After Bomb Threat

ISLAMABAD - According to CNN reports; two planes of Pakistan’s national carrier PIA have been forced for emergency landing because of bomb threats, one in Turkey and one in Malaysia. Both landed securely.

A jet carrying 378 passengers was on its way to Britain Wednesday, when it made an emergency landing at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, Turkey's state-run Anatolia news agency states. 

Security officials with sniffing dogs searched the plane after it was evacuated following emergency landing.

According to details; the Boeing 777 started its journey from Islamabad with a scheduled destination to Manchester. The bomb thereat received through email when the plane was flying over Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

The same kind of incident took place in Malaysia when a second plane from Islamabad carrying 176 passengers landed safely at its destination in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
