Kim Kardashian is citing "irreconcilable differences" for the split

After more than two months of marriage, Kim Kardashian finally decided to end his household with a basketball player Kris Humphries. According to Kim, her marriage to Kris did not go according to plan.

Actress was born October 21, 1980 did not explain in detail the reasons behind his decision. But Kim had thought carefully about his desire for a divorce.

Kim filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court, the United States on Monday (31/10/2011) morning local time. Thus, households who built the couple's only lasted for 72 days.

Kardashian is citing "irreconcilable differences" for the split, but it appears Humphries was completely unaware of his wife's plans and he's determined to fix their marital problems.

In his own statement issued on Monday, he says, "I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

Twitter.com bloggers have taken aim at the socialite for choosing to end her union to Humphries rather than work on her marriage.

Defending her sister, Khloe tweets, "Reading some (of) these comments r (sic) so hurtful. Im grateful 4 our fans who understand & r being respectful (sic). Hate is disgusting. Love is everything. Thank God for family. We are strong and we will only become closer!"
