Diana Banchero: Miss Earth Uruguay 2011

Diana Banchero is an official representative of Uruguay in Miss Earth 2011. Diana will represent her country in Miss Earth 2011 at Manila, Philippines on 3rd December, 2011. It was originally scheduled to be held at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand. However the pageant organizers decided to move the pageant back to the Philippines due to the Massive flooding in Thailand. Under the theme Mother Earth, the pageant featured the contestants representing various scenic environmental aspects of Uruguay.

When asked what environmental project will you create to promote the protection of Mother Earth and why, Diana replied that here in Uruguay, has created a project to preserve a place called Cape Polonius, an oceanic coastal area which is famous and known for its huge moving dunes, the project is to remove illegal constructions in the area that do not allow the movement of dunes, thus restoring the natural order.
