Michael Jackson’s doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the late music legend.
Members of the Jackson family wept quietly after the guilty verdict was read at Los Angeles Superior Court and said that justice was finally served.
Dr Murray would be remanded in custody without bail until Tuesday, November 29, 2011 for sentencing. Dr Conrad faces up to four years imprisonment and withdrawal of his medical license.
The jury selection of Conrad Murray's trial began on September 8, 2011 in Los Angeles. The trial began on September 27, 2011 and six weeks later, Murray was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter on November 7, 2011.
