Amanda Victoria Vilanova Pérez, is Miss World Puerto Rico 2011, she was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 30, 1991. The Miss World Puerto Rico 2011 pageant was held at the Alejandro Tapia y Rivera Theater, Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, on June 9, 2011.
She will represent Puerto Rico in the 61st Miss World 2011 pageant, that will be held at London, United Kingdom on November 6, 2011.
Amanda Vilanova, who stands 5 ft 7.5 in (1.71 m) tall, competed in the national beauty pageant Miss World Puerto Rico 2011, on June 9, 2011 and obtained the title of Miss World Puerto Rico, she was representing San Juan.
Pageant participations
In 2010 she was selected as the first runner up in Miss Latin America, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
Theater Appearances
During 2010 she started acting in theater during de play Private Lives, directed by José Juan, a student of the Drama Department of the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus.
Dudas, or Doubt: A Parable a play wrote by John Patrick Shanley, translated to Spanish by Dra. Myrna Casas, and produced by José Juan, was presented on the Teatrito theater in the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, on 14–20 April 2011. Amanda Vilanova played the rol of 'Sister James', a younger nun and enthusiastic but inexperienced teacher.
