My beloved country Nigeria is 51 today!!!It should be a day of celebration but is there truly any reason to celebrate?
Does the girl with the national flag look happy? NO !!! Well, this young girl too may have her reason. But please don't ask me what it is because I don''t have an answer.
Somebody just asked me if Nigeria is still crawling, learning to walk or on her feet already because a lot of things are just still not in place. Starting with education, electricity, transportation down to security.
However, as a Nigerian, I will always pray for the peace and growth of my country.
Happy celebration, Happy independence.
