A one day sport event tagged 'Hardcore race/carnival' which is a fusion of sport and entertainment has been introduced into the country.
This sport entertainment is the brainchild of two brothers, Tayo Ellis and Olabisi Elvis Oshorun owners of Hardcore Entertainment. The duo revealed that the hardcore race/carnival is a one day event which would be the 'Next Big Thing' in the country.
The one day hardcore race/carnival would involve 100 contestants between the ages of 18 -99. They are expected to overcome 25 different obstacles such as crawl under barbed wire, jump over the wall and so on and finally drag a 25kg sand bag to the finish line. All these would be done through 2000m muddy environment.
100 participants are expected to take part in the event after screening for physical and health fitness at the main bowl of the National Stadium on December 15, 2011. While the main event would hold on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Hardcore Village, km 35, Lekki Express Way.
The event would be spiced by cheer leaders, enough drinks, barbecue fish and plantain, Dj’s and many more.
First runner up to gets N1, 000,000 and a brand new car, second runner up would go home with N500,000 and a brand new generator, the third runner up will go away with N300,000 and a return ticket to destination within the country.
