First Unboxings of Retail BlackBerry Bold 9900 Start Appearing

Now that the BlackBerry Bold 9900 is beginning to go on sale in RIM’s home turf of Canada, we’re starting to see what the retail version of the phone with the box and accompanying accessories will look like. It looks like the phone went on sale a day early at some Rogers wireless store, and for the few lucky Canadians who were able to pick up the new RIM flagship phone early, early unboxing pictures and videos are now starting to appear online.

Kevin, the editor at CrackBerry went out and picked up not just one, but four, BlackBerry Bold 9900 and unboxed one of his units and compared it to the older BlackBerry Bold 9000, of which the 9900′s design is based upon, as well as the last generation BlackBerry 9780/9700 series.

You can check out Kevin’s BlackBerry Bold 9900 unboxing below:

Though Kevin hasn’t fully written about his opinion, it seems that he likes the phone a lot. Multiple people who have had a chance to have some hands-on time with the device had noted that it is the best BlackBerry device on the market, complete with the well-loved keyboard experience along with a touchscreen, fast processor, and HD camera recording capabilities.

In the meantime, the Bold 9900 is imminent in the U.S., though no carrier has officially announced pricing nor availability. Both AT&T and Sprint have confirmed the 9900 and 9930 variant respectively, but neither have offered us a launch date. Prior leaks suggest that T-Mobile may launch their version by the end of this month with a rebate.
