PAGASA Expects Stronger Tropical Storm (Songda) to Hit Philippines Before Monday Morning

Tropical Storm 'Songda' to Hit Philippines by Monday Morning
MANILA, Philippines (May 22) – According to latest updates by the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA); the tropical storm, Songda,  heading towards Philippines strengthened further on Sunday afternoon, prompting authorities to order concerned agencies to get prepared for consequences after it arrival.

Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) anticipate the storm to enter Philippine territory sometime between Sunday night and early Monday.

Before this latest update; PAGASA reported the storm was some 1,050 km east of northern Mindanao as of 4 p.m. (Local Time); with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph and gustiness of up to 90 kph.
