T-Rex

Yesterday we were driving home from Dublin (which is a long way) and Holly decided to entertain us by making up the following story:

Tyrannosaurus Rex stuck in castle and princesses rescue her. Princesses go to forest and get trees and climb in castle. Princesses open the door and Tyrannosaurus Rex get out. She run to tunnel and get scared. Cars making noise, Cars stuck in tunnel. Tyrannosaurus Rex run away and find Alligator. She ask her "are you my mommy"? Alligator say "no I a mommy alligator, Help you find baby alligator". Tyrannosaurus Rex look in grass. She find mommy Tyrannosaurus Rex, She watching baby alligator. Baby go back to her Mommy. Mommy Tyrannosaurus Rex is so happy her baby is back too.

Floating through Storyland

Next door to Rapunzel's Tower was Storybook Village. Here there was both a train and a boat rideThe girls were super excited about the train ride, it was something known and comfortableBut the boat ride was super exciting, as we got to see everything up closeHolly was excited and since she had ridden the train already only a little nervousBut I did have to coax her to give it a try. Once she did and we set sail she was thrilledThe miniatures were so beautiful, and the water was cool and peacefulThere were several tunnels throughout the canals, which Holly was excited byShe would cheer, "Into the Tunnel, out of the Tunnel" as we went throughHere was Aladdin's lamp, just past his palaceThe home of Snow White and the Seven DwarfsThis is Cinderella's home and the prince's castle up on the hillAdorable little villages and beautiful archwaysHere you can see the train passing by in the distanceThis little village may have been the home to PinocchioHolly liked all of the bridge's and waterways Joel liked the landscapingQuilt patch succulents lined the rolling hillsHere a pirate lair, and even the underwater kingdom of ArielThis was definitely a highlight of the first day.
