The Android pumpkin, which was designed by Justin from West St. Paul, Minnesota, fits without any doubt in the harmless pumpkins category. The logo and the overall design may not be very sophisticated, but the idea is worth some appreciation. Considering the simplicity of the design, there must have been a small amount of work, fact that does not affect the originality of this Halloween pumpkin.

Younger kids may not know what the alienesque logo stands for, but the designer of this pumpkin also included a caption under it. This 12 years old guys Sam Beards, which is the truly angry birds fans in England, manage to made his own version of Angry birds by using a pumpkins. Here's Sam Beards story about how he managed to made a real life angry birds game. It's really a great ideas for this Halloween guys.

Just like millions of people around the world, Sam spent hours every day playing Angry Birds on the tiny screen of his iPod, but when he got the idea of making a real-life adaptation of his favorite game using a pumpkin cannon his father built last Halloween, he jumped at the opportunity. In Angry Birds, players have to shoot various types of birds at their mortal enemy, the pigs, using a slingshot, but in Sam Beads version, people use the giant cannon to shoot pumpkins painted as the popular birds at other pumpkins painted as pigs.

Sam explained told his father, Dorian Beards, about Angry Birds and his idea of recreating it on their farm, and although he had never heard about it, and always wondered what his son was doing on his iPod every day, the farmer from Barford, Warwickshire, thought it would make a fine attraction for tourists. The destructible environment that protects the egg-thieving pigs in Rovio’s hit game was constructed in just one hour, using straw bales, wooden planks and a few old barrels, and the $800 pumpkin cannon was ready to cause some damage

Sam’s siblings, sister Jessica, 16, brothers Ben, 14, and Davy, four, with their father Dorian are in charge of painting the pumpkins as Angry Birds characters, and Sam fires the compressed air cannon that can shoot a pumpkin up to 500 meters. ‘They had a great time firing the pumpkins at pretend targets. I think we might make this a regular event and get the customers to join in,’ Sam’s mother, Fiona, says.

Harbor the Hound Dog with the Longest Ears

There's so many weird and bizarre dog in this worlds such as Harbor the black and tan coonhound dog which is now recognized as the Dog with the Longest ears in the World with his 2 feet long ears. harbor's ears was features on the 2012 Guinness World Records for the Dog with the Longest Ears on the 15th september. Harbor's owner Jenifer Wert, of Boulder, Colorado, said his giant ears caused him quite a headache as a small puppy. The black and tan Coonhound would often trip over his floppy ears and slide down the family home stairs, she said.

Now eight years old and fully grown, Harbour is able to walk around without much fuss - except when he goes for a walk in the park. "Cars will literally stop in the street to take a closer look and get a picture," added Ms Wert.

When measured by officials Harbor's ears were 12.25 inches (31.1 cm) for the left ear and 13.5 inches (34.3 cm) for the right. Amazingly, Harbor's ear-span is longer than the world's smallest man Junrey Balawing, from the Philippines, who stands at just 23.5 inches.

The extra-long ears displayed on most hounds, particularly the Coonhound, are used not for hearing but primarily for smell. Harbor uses his ears close to the ground to sweep odours up into his nose.

Tigger, a deceased bloodhound from Illinois, laid claim to the previous record with a 13.75 inch (34.9 cm) right ear and a 13.5 inch (34.2 cm) left ear.

The exhibits in this geeky museum aim to document all the aspects of video games, including graphics, hardware, music, storylines, etc, since 1951 to current day. Apart from tracking the evolution of video games, the museum also explores the effects gaming has had on modern society, from positive ones like social networking to negative, like addiction and video-game-inspired violence.

One of the museum walls is covered with over 50 handheld and home video-game consoles, dating back to 1951. Gaming enthusiasts will recognize the Commodore 64, the Game Boy, and the 1990′s popular Super Nintendo, displayed in neon green cases. It also features the world’s first home video-game console, invented by a Ralph Baer, during the 1960s. It was called the “Brown Box”, and it was the prototype for the home gaming system known as the Magnavox Odyssey console. Baer, who is now the patron of the Video Game Museum, thinks kids nowadays with their PSPs, Xbox 360s and PS3 consoles take modern games for granted and need to know how gaming began and how far it has come since the days of Atari’s legendary Pong.

In another part of the museum we find the Wall of Game Milestones, with over 50 extraordinary games that have influenced the industry with their graphics, music, or genre. Among these are the legendary Pac-Man, Street Fighter 2 or Sonic the Hedgehog, but also more obscure video games like Balance of Power, released in 1985, which was included because it was the world’s first ever video game with a political theme.

1. Banana Bat (Musonycteris harrisoni)







This Banana Bat is a species of bat in the Phyllostomidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Musonycteris. It is endemic to Western Mexico. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It is threatened by habitat loss. the banana bat is noted for its very long snout, the longest of any bat (relative to size). It is nectarivorous, which means it feeds mostly on nectar and is an important pollinator in its tropical deciduous forest habitat. It gets its name because it is often found in banana plantations



2. Ghost Bat (Macroderma gigas)







found in tropical rain forests from Mexico to Brazil, and also in the island of Trinidad, in the Caribbean. It is a solitary animal that spends daylight roosting under a palm leaf, and then flies high at night, hunting moths and other flying insects. this species was also known as one of the largest microbats in the world, It is largely insectivorous but will also consume frogs, lizards, and other small animals, including other bats. It hunts by sight as well as with echolocation. After killing its prey with its powerful bite, it carries it to a feeding perch to eat. They roost in caves, mines, and tunnels in small colonies, usually of less than a hundred bats.

This Chapin bat is a species of bat in the Molossidae family. It is found in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda. Its natural habitat is moist savanna. 4. Wrinkle Faced Bat (Centurio senex)







Wrinkle faced bat is a species of bat in the Phyllostomidae family. It is the only identified member of the genus Centurio. It is found in various countries in and around Central America. It eats fruit but is not classified within the fruit bats. It is classified as a leaf-nosed bat but does not have a leaf nose. it is also known as “murcielago viejito” (“old man bat”) or murcielago zopilote (“vulture bat”), due to its naked, wrinkly face. They have a large flap of skin that they use as a mask to cover their face when they sleep.



5. Big Eared Bat (Corynorhinus townsendii)







These bats feed on flying insects and, just as many other bats, use echolocation to find them. Their enormous ears gives them even better hearing than that of smaller eared bats. They belong to diverse genera and are found in many parts of the world. They're a medium-sized bat, about 3.5 - 4 inches long.

This bat species is native to Latin America. The bat uses echolocation to detect water ripples made by the fish upon which they prey, then use the pouch between its legs to scoop the fish and its sharp claws to catch their prey, The fish is then stored in the cheek bags and chewed only while being on land. Repeating this strategy, the bat can catch up to 30 fishes per night., this bats reaching up to 13 cm in length, while their wings stretch up to 30 cm across. They’re often called bulldog bats for their cheek bags and small eyes that hold a close resemblance to those of a bulldog. The Fishing Bat’s natural habitat is forest regions and seaside marshes in Central and Southern America, ranging from Mexico to Argentina and they’re also found of the islands of Trinidad and Antillia.

This bat species It occurs in Belize, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico. Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela and in Texas in the United States, they has a ghost faced name due to their unusual appearance of their face. This ugly appearance is due to the flaps of skin that are found hanging on their chin and along their face. They also have a very poorly developed nose and "large, round ears that join across their forehead" They feed on nocturnal insects.



8. Sucker Footed Bat (Myzopoda aurita)







this unique bat species comes from madagaskar, They roost inside the rolled leaves of palm trees, using their suckers to attach themselves to the smooth surface, Today it is known that they don´t use suction, but rather adhesion, by producing a sticky substance that acts as a glue- the same kind of adhesion found in tree frogs and salamanders.



9. Tube Nosed Bat (Murina grisea)







This tube nosed bat found in rainforest area on south east asia or specifically in Philippines, this bat species was also known as the critically endangered bat species, this species is noted for its strangely tubular nostrils and the stripes on its back (very few bats have stripes). They feed mostly on figs and other fruit but may eat insects on occasion. They are 3.3-6.0cm in length and have round heads, large eyes and soft fur. They are brown with white-yellow and underparts and have specks of orange around their neck. While they are roosting, their fur, which seems to look like a dead plant, camouflages them from predators.



10. Hammer Headed Bat (Hypsignathus monstrosus)







This hammer headed bat or Big Lipped bat species was included as the most unique and weirdest bat species, it was found on the rain forests of Africa, this large bat gets its name for the huge, strangely shaped head of the males. Most of the male’s thorax is actually a resonating chamber that allows them to produce very loud calls to attract females. They feed on fruit and, occasionally, on other animals.
